🌟 Meet Emily — Creating Calm, Connection, and Confidence
When your child is first diagnosed with autism, finding the right support can feel overwhelming. You want someone who not only understands your child, but also creates a safe, loving space where they can grow at their own pace.
That’s exactly what Emily brings to Creating Brighter Futures.
Emily is a Behavior Technician who works one-on-one with children each day. Originally a teacher, she studied both special education and general education in college — but large classrooms left her feeling stretched too thin. “I wanted to connect with kids one-on-one, to really see their progress and be part of it,” she shares. A friend introduced her to ABA therapy, and after just a few sessions, she knew she’d found her place.
In her role, Emily builds trust and confidence with each child while helping them develop essential life skills like communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation. “We work on things like saying hi to a peer or identifying colors — little moments that actually make a huge difference in a child’s world.”
She follows customized programs created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), offers feedback to fine-tune those plans, and tracks every bit of progress using data tools. “It’s amazing to see a child reach a goal we’ve been working toward. Those moments feel huge — and they’re worth everything.”
Parents love her clear and caring communication. Emily keeps families informed through daily “go-home notes” and check-ins at drop-off and pick-up. “It’s so important that parents feel confident and supported — we want them to know they’re part of this journey too.”
She says her favorite part of the job is simple: “I get to show up every day, make a difference, and have fun doing it.”
At Creating Brighter Futures, your child will be seen, supported, and celebrated — not just as a client, but as a unique and capable individual. With Behavior Technicians like Emily by their side, they’ll grow in confidence, joy, and independence — one small step at a time.
