🌟 Meet Sofia — Helping Children Shine Through Connection and Joy

When starting autism therapy, parents want someone who truly sees their child — someone who connects, encourages growth, and celebrates every step.

That’s what Sofia brings to Creating Brighter Futures.

Sofia is a Behavior Technician who discovered ABA therapy while studying psychology at the University of Michigan. “I thought I’d go the clinical route,” she says, “but after starting here, I realized this was where I was meant to be.”

She works one-on-one with children, using individualized, play-based therapy to build communication, social skills, and confidence. Guided by BCBA-designed programs, Sofia tracks progress step-by-step while creating a fun, supportive environment.

“We build trust by meeting kids where they are,” she explains. “If they’re searching for a green car or jumping on the trampoline, I join them. That’s where connection happens.”

Parents stay closely involved through daily go-home notes and personal check-ins. “I love telling parents about the little wins — it helps them feel confident and connected,” she says.

For Sofia, this work is more than a job — it’s a calling. “It’s fun, meaningful, and so rewarding. I leave every day knowing I’ve made a difference.”

At Creating Brighter Futures, your child won’t just receive therapy — they’ll be seen, supported, and celebrated by a team that truly cares.
