Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science-based therapy that focuses on improving specific behaviors, such as social skills, communication, and adaptive learning skills, through systematic interventions. At Creating Brighter Futures, ABA therapy is tailored to each child's needs, helping them gain confidence, build independence, and thrive at home, in school, and in their community. If your child has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or exhibits developmental delays in areas like communication, social interactions, or behavior, ABA therapy might be beneficial. We recommend scheduling a consultation with our team to assess your child's unique needs.

We can often begin therapy in as little as two weeks, depending on your location and preferred session times. After the initial assessment and treatment plan are complete, our team will work with your insurance provider to request authorization for ABA services. While that’s processing, we’ll begin matching your child with a Behavior Technician who’s the right fit. Once insurance approval is in place and your care team is ready, we’ll schedule your child’s first session and begin their journey with us!

We provide several programs, including:

  • Early Intervention Program: Designed for young children to develop foundational skills
  • Junior & Adolescent Program: Focuses on enhancing social, communication, and adaptive skills for older children and teenagers.
  • Social Skills Groups: Facilitates peer interactions to build and practice social skills in a supportive environment.

Each program is individualized to meet the specific needs of the child.

Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) conduct comprehensive assessments to understand your child's strengths, challenges, and goals. Based on this assessment, we develop a personalized therapy plan that targets specific areas for improvement, ensuring that interventions are effective and meaningful.

Parents play a crucial role in the success of ABA therapy. We offer monthly parent trainings to equip you with strategies to support your child's progress at home and in the community. Additionally, we assist with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with other service providers to ensure a cohesive approach to your child's development.

The number of hours your child receives will depend on their individual needs and goals, determined through an initial assessment by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). ABA therapy is “dose-dependent,” meaning more intensive schedules—typically 25–40 hours per week—are often linked to greater, long-term gains in areas like communication, learning, and behavior. We’ll work closely with your family to recommend a schedule that’s both effective and realistic for your child.

Therapy session lengths are based on the number of hours recommended in your child’s individualized treatment plan, created by you and your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Most sessions typically last between 2 to 5 hours, depending on your child’s needs and goals. We do our best to create a schedule that’s both effective and a good fit for your family’s routine.

Every child is unique, and while Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy addresses a broad range of developmental areas, some children may benefit from additional services such as speech or occupational therapy to support their overall growth. At Creating Brighter Futures, we don't offer these therapies directly, but we recognize their value and can recommend trusted local providers. Collaborating with these professionals ensures a comprehensive approach, enhancing your child's progress across various domains. By working together as a team, we can create a cohesive plan that addresses all aspects of your child's development, leading to more effective and lasting outcomes.
