ABA Therapy Serving Canton, Michigan
Canton is one of the largest communities near our center, and its families have a lot of choices. Creating Brighter Futures is a locally owned center in Ann Arbor that has offered individualized ABA therapy since 2013, for children and teens ages 2 to 18 with autism and other developmental disabilities.
How Far Is Creating Brighter Futures From Canton?
Measured from the center of Canton Township, our center at 4201 Varsity Drive is about 18 miles away, roughly 25 minutes without traffic. The usual route is Canton Center Road south to Michigan Avenue (US-12), west to I-94, then the State Street exit and Ellsworth Road. Canton covers a large area, so your drive may be a little longer or shorter.
That's a meaningful daily drive, so we'll talk honestly about schedules at your tour. Sessions typically run 2 to 5 hours, and we'll help you find a rhythm that works with school and work.
Plymouth-Canton Schools and Your Child's IEP
Plymouth-Canton Community Schools' special education department serves students from birth through age 26 and runs an autism spectrum disorder program from early childhood through post-secondary, with classrooms at the elementary, middle, high school, and post-secondary levels. Wayne RESA coordinates Early On for children under 3.
ABA can complement school programs. We help parents prepare for IEP meetings, share progress with the school team, and plan therapy around the school day.

ABA Programs for Canton Kids
Our Early Intervention Program serves ages 2 to 8, and our Junior & Adolescent Program serves ages 8 to 18. Both are center-based, with one-on-one therapy and small-group learning. Seasonal group programs give kids more time to practice with peers.
