Employee Spotlight Cheryl Ward

Cheryl Ward grew up in Long Beach, California and moved to Michigan in 2006, mainly to be closer to her sister. She is married to a wonderful husband who has been serving in the Army for thirty-five years. They are a blended family and have five children, all adults now. Cheryl has two grandsons, one who was just born on January 8th.  She also has two dogs and two grand-dogs. Alongside her husband, Cheryl's sister is her best friend. They spend quite a bit of time together. Being a military spouse, Cheryl was able to experience living in different states, and because of it, she has met some lifelong friends.

In 2018, Cheryl graduated from Liberty University with a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling, and also completed a dual Bachelor of Science in Psychology degrees with cognates in Crisis Counseling and Military Resilience. She also has her Associates in Health Care Management. In her spare time, Cheryl likes to chat with her kids, watch movies, and spend time with her sister. She is excited to be a part of the team and thanks all who have been supportive of her transition to the CBF family.
