Detroit Tigers Accessibility and Sensory Room

The Detroit Tigers recently unveiled their new sensory room in Comerica Park, just ahead of the 2024 season. This room will accommodate fans with sensory-processing needs, including those with autism. The room is located just behind Section 210 and will be available at all games for all ages. The room includes and is equipped with bubble walls, bean bag chairs, and a variety of sensory toys.

In addition to the new room, the Detroit Tigers also accommodate fans by providing sensory bags which include noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools, and verbal cue cards to those who may feel overwhelmed while visiting the park. Guests wishing to obtain a bag while visiting must sign a waiver and leave either a drivers license or credit card which will be returned upon bringing the bag back in the same condition.
