Creativity in the Classroom

We love to be creative and come up with new ways to teach skills to our clients. One of our case managers, Sara, created lots of different ways to teach sight words. Instead of using typical flashcards, she created a game where you hit the target sight word with a flyswatter – making it both fun and educational! She also set up supplies to write sight names in chalk, give “high fives” to the target sight word in an array, and more!

We love to see creative learning around the center, seeing material in various formats helps our clients generalize skills across contexts. Plus, when learning is fun, everyone has a good time!
