Speech Therapy

Communication is such an important part of our everyday lives, however, many children need help finding their voices. We would love to help your child find theirs through our speech therapy program.

Speech therapy is provided in office at Creating Brighter Futures by an ASHA certified and Michigan licensed speech therapist who specializes in pediatric communication disorders. Speech therapy is offered to children with varying diagnoses and communication deficits ranging in ages from 18 months to 18 years. Therapy services include evaluation, treatments, home programs, and parent education. If you are concerned about your child’s speech and language skills, please call us to schedule an evaluation.

About our therapist:

Rachel received her bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University in 2014 and her master’s degree from Miami University in 2016. The bulk of her experience has been in pediatrics working with a range of communication disorders and diagnoses including autism, cerebral palsy, apraxia, deaf/hard of hearing, and many more. She has significant experience working with children who use augmentative and alternative communication. She is also trained in PROMPT therapy and proficient in American Sign Language.
