Join us in welcoming Rachel Prokop, MS CCC-SLP to Creating Brighter Futures as our new Speech Pathologist!
Rachel grew up in Livonia, Michigan. She graduated from CMU in 2014 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in American Sign Language. She graduated from Miami University in Ohio in 2016 with her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology.
Rachel always knew that she wanted to work with children but wasn’t exactly sure which direction to go in. After witnessing the daughter of a family friend make great strides in speech therapy, she decided to go into the field. The majority of her experience has been in outpatient settings.
When asked what she hopes to bring to CBF, Rachel said that she is excited to collaborate with ABA therapists and share her knowledge of Speech Pathology with us. When the entire treatment team is aware of goals, behaviors, challenges, and skill areas, all therapy becomes more effective.
Rachel enjoys watching TV, learning new languages, traveling, spending time with family and friends, ice skating, puzzles, being outside, and baseball. She especially loves the Tigers!
We are very excited to create brighter futures with Rachel on our team!
